SEO Sasquatch
The method

How we take a business from myth to spotted

Four steps, in a fixed order, with the work logged at every stage. This is the same process behind every plan — only the pace changes.

Honest timelines

How long does SEO take?

Most businesses see meaningful SEO results in three to nine months. Technical fixes can lift rankings within weeks, but content authority and local signals compound slowly because search engines need time to recrawl, re-evaluate, and trust your site. Early signals — rising impressions, new keyword rankings, faster indexing — usually show within the first sixty to ninety days.

Anyone quoting faster is either guessing or hoping you won’t measure. The honest version: month one is mostly tracking and clearing, months two and three are where the early signals surface, and the compounding kicks in from there. It’s also why every plan on our pricing page is month-to-month — the timeline should be honest precisely because you’re free to leave during it.

Step 01Track

What’s actually keeping you hidden?

Every engagement starts with a deep technical and market audit. We crawl your site the way Google does, test Core Web Vitals, map your competitors’ rankings, and find the exact queries your customers type. You get the full findings — every issue, ranked by impact — before we fix a single thing.

Good tracking beats loud guessing. Plenty of agencies skip straight to deliverables; we start with evidence, because a fix aimed at the wrong problem is just billable noise. Want to see what the findings look like before spending a dollar? Our sample audit is public — casts, footprints, and all.

Step 02Clear the trail

What gets fixed before anything gets built?

Technical debt goes first: crawl errors, broken redirects, slow pages, missing schema markup, index bloat, and mobile issues. These are the fallen trees across your trail — until they’re cleared, new content can’t perform. We prioritize quick wins that can move rankings in weeks, then the structural fixes that hold long-term.

This is unglamorous work, which is exactly why it gets skipped — and exactly where the easy gains hide. The full checklist lives on our technical SEO service page. A site that search engines can’t crawl cleanly is a Sasquatch that won’t even leave prints.

Step 03Build presence

How do you build a presence search engines trust?

With content clusters that prove topical authority, local signals that anchor you to your Seattle service area, and pages structured so both Google and AI answer engines can quote them. We write for the questions your customers actually ask, then earn the citations and profile signals that make those answers stick.

One page never convinces anyone — a connected cluster does. This phase pairs content optimization with local SEO, so your business shows up whether someone searches, asks a map, or asks an AI.

Step 04Report sightings

How will you know any of this is working?

Because every month you get a plain-English report: what we shipped versus what we promised, how rankings and traffic moved, and where AI engines mention your business. Every deliverable is logged where you can see it — and if we miss one, that month is free.

No jargon fog, no dashboard you need a translator for. We run the same reporting on ourselves at /tracking, and the free-month rule is written into every plan. Sightings you can’t verify are just stories.

Field reports

What do we report every month?

Every monthly report covers five things: deliverables shipped versus promised, keyword and ranking movement, organic traffic explained in plain English, where AI engines mention your business, and next month’s plan. Nothing padded, nothing hidden — the same five sections, every month, so you can compare months honestly.

  • Deliverables: what we promised vs. what we shipped, item by item
  • Rankings: which keywords moved, in which direction, and our read on why
  • Traffic: organic visits and the pages earning them, in plain English
  • AI visibility: where answer engines like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity mention you
  • Next month’s plan: what we’re doing next, and what it’s meant to move

Step zero is free

The free SEO audit is a scaled-down Track phase: we look at your site, tell you what’s keeping it hidden, and you decide if the rest of the trail is worth walking.
